School Shootings ………. A Victim Speaks Out

Before Virginia Tech, before Columbine, there was Paducah. This is a glimpse into the life of a school shooting victim who was severely injured during a school shooting 10 years ago.

It is inspirational.

It reveals true compassion.

It should be viewed and listened to.

Congratulations to the victim for speaking out.

I don’t need to add further comment to what this victim says as she puts her point of view across very well.

As an aside I will make this comment and it is in regards to YouTube. I have found this site to be a very interesting and valuable site. The only issue I have is with some of the comments that are left by people. They make me sick to my stomach and I don’t know how people can make some of the cruel comments that they do.

As an example these are the sort of comments that were left for the above video – absolutely disgusting. The top comment sums up my feelings. The bottom comment well, that very ‘intelligent moron’ left his mark on countless occasions. They wonder why we have school shootings; I think the comments speak for themselves.

It’s depressing and repulsive to see some of the responses people have put for this video. I guess that in itself says a lot about this country, or the world we live in for that matter.
