Dear Chez..
I was driving through the neighbourhood, and viewing the latest stuff of my friends and neighbours, when I had a look again at some your photos. I left a brief comment on one, but hesitate somewhat worrying about whether I will end up sounding racist. I don't feel I have one racist hair in my body, and have been in the past perhaps the greatest mediator in keeping an eye on workplace relationships to enable mooth and socially acceptable integration, prevail between all nationalities and old school personalities. The older I get, and the less I worry... - I've started to notice that I've neglected to show, or allow, the same love for all things Australian, which is becoming unconsciously apparent, of late. The first time I'd paid this a glancing thought, was last Australia Day - a relaxing weekend spent in the country, and the heartwarming feeling that filled me, not only due to the serenity of the Australian countryside but also from the visible signs of our flag. Multiculturalism in the big smoke is a great thing, and there are many benefits, including a great and varied night-life, eateries, and well-deserved tag of being "the most liveable city" within Os, and I welcome it, but I figure the heart of Australia needs hugs too, and just as much love and respect from time to time. There really are some stunning shots you've got there of your son playing footy and swimming in the country rivers. It pleases me and warms my heart to see yours - being a prime example of not only a proud mum, but also a beautiful tourist-like representation of us Aussie bloggers! Just wanted you to know that!
Big smiles.
Xoxo

You missed your meeting this week didn't you? I was there at the meeting but where were you? *wink*

No only kidding - you know me never serious, what is the point, you don't take me seriously anyway :-)

Well thanks Dee I will take your comment as a compliment - so thank you. I guess it is just a matter of I take what I see and this is what I see. So maybe given your comment and given this is an international site (I believe) I shoud add Australia to my tags.

Thanks Dee - I always appreciate your comments and anyone's for that matter :-P

Miles of Smiles,

You can take the girl out of the bush, but you can't take the bush out of the girl

That is Aussie talk by the way ;-P

Meeting? When was the meeting? Did I miss it - again?!!! Damn! My hands were starting to shake Chez.. I just couldn't help myself..
P.S. DON'T try and tell me that YOU went.. yeah right..pfftttt!
(NB: To other readers....*see previous recent 3 volume essay/comments she left on my blog*..then make up your own mind!)

Now Dee, would I lie to you?????

I DID go to the meeting but you - my backup buddy, the one that I am supposed to call when I get out of control, you were NOT there. So if I wrote what you claim I wrote well what can I say but, "Hey, it was your fault for not backing me up."

But I love you anyway.

Chezza <:-)

Hey Chez.. well I checked the attendance roll from the last EANNA 'meet'.. and well hmmmmm...(you sure??)

(EANNA - "Essays are NOT notes anonymous", pronounced E-N-A). (Note the unusually long-winded acronym...BH = Blog Hog, is a term used by people who DONT have the problem.. lol).

Sorry re the slip-up on my end of being “support buddy”…I PROMISE.. I will be at the next ‘meet’, along with a 3 page essay noting reasons why I missed the last one and how much I love me’ friend… xox Dee

Ummm I think I went last week???? Or was that the week before?????

No I did go last week and how come you have access to the attendence roll anyway?????

Dee as your support buddy, please limit your reasons for not attending to a very short note, I shall suggest to you a 1/4 of a page in point form.

See ya next week - by the way the location has changed. Some placed called Vox as we seem to be locked out of our former meeting hall - BN. Seriously we are locked out, I have spent most of the morning and arvo knocking on the door but I can't get in! The only problem is that I think there are some very angry people locked in there! I heard someone scream,

"BN, HURRY UP WITH THE UPGRADE ALREADY, I need to get home!!"
