Why do we cling?
We cling to our money and what it can buy
We cling to our house and all that's insideWe cling to our garden, the green lawn and surrounds
We cling to our car and how far we can run
We cling to our spouse and our children as well
We cling to our family and cling to our friends
We cling to our career and its prestige we defend
We cling to our religion to make amends
We cling to our phones in the hope that they ring
We cling to our email in case it says "In"
We cling to our opinions for we must be right
We cling to our fears and are too scared to fight
We cling to our past and all that it means
We cling to our present for we know what it means
We cling to our future for the hopes it may bring
We cling for our life in the fear it may end
And while we are clinging and too afraid to let go
our life is ending whether we cling or let go
To let go is to be free from the prison within
To let go is to let life really begin.

Does your blog match your hair colour now, Chezza?
The 1st point - if I am not clinging to my money anymore it means that I don't have any, so you are too late - sorry.
Don't you just love the colour of my blog? I have never been a dark blog person as I was worried about writing my blog in a word document and then having trouble getting it to display on my blog, but I have solved that problem.
I have found that a dark background brings out the photos so much better.
Oh I nearly forgot to answer your question does it match my hair colour, well the answer is yes. Purple and grey/white - a perfect match!
Giving away money - now you are the 3rd person that has asked me that today, the answer to the 1st request first thing this morning basically was, "I am happy to donate to any worthwhile cause, but I need more information regarding your cause - so give me the gossip: What haven't I been told that I should be told?" So I guess the question is Worker, are you a worthwhile cause? *wink*
How much do you need? I think my son has left me with about $10 from our recent hospital visit - growing boys do they ever get a full belly?????
Miles of Smiles,
Chezza <:-)
I don't know how much I have spent on him over this past week, it pays not to know sometimes.
I am glad you were honest about not needing my last $10, I almost wrote the cheque out :-)
It must be nearly your home time, have a safe trip home.
